INSURANCE

As acupuncture continues to become a mainstream medical treatment, many insurance providers are choosing to cover the cost.

While insurance plans often state they cover acupuncture, there are important details that affect the amount that patients end up paying.

Use this step-by-step guide to verify your benefits with confidence so you know what to expect after your appointments.

It is crucial to note that insurance tends to only pay for acupuncture when it is being used to treat physical pain.  While, in practice, acupuncture is able to address many symptoms simultaneously, the treatment and documentation of pain is what insurers need to see in order to agree to cover your costs.

I am currently in network with:

In addition, I accept all Motor Vehicle Accident claims and HSA/FSA cards that cover acupuncture.

For anyone wishing to seek reimbursement from an insurance carrier that covers out-of-network acupuncture services, I can provide a SUPERBILL upon request, which can be used to request reimbursement from your insurance provider.
